Permaculture Trainings Friday June 4

2 PM‹Hands-on greening projects
4 PM‹Hands-on greening projects

Learn the principles of ecological design and how they apply to everything
from a garden to a mobilization. Green the convergence space. Make seed
balls (just like the ones confiscated last year by the Sacramento police!),
learn about plant guilds, graywater, urban permaculture. Experience the
beautiful Garden Lounge and prepare for the weekend¹s actions.

Action Basics and Preparation

How to stay calm and make clear decisions in tense situations, affinity
groups and action teams, de-escalation of conflict, basic health and safety,
street solidarity and awareness,what to wear, bring, and how to prepare for
nonviolent direct action.

10 AM Affinity Group Mixer for Singles
If you don¹t have an affinity group, come and meet others, or if your group
is looking for more people, come let us know. Learn how an affinity group
functions, how to support the direct action, and then march together in the
peace march.
