Demo Against Labour Party Spring Conference on M13
On M20, most anti-war activists in Manchester, UK went to the 100,000 strong dmo in London and hence no actions took place in Manchester on that date.
However, the weekend before M20, on 13th March, Tony Blair came to Manchester for the Labour Party Spring Conference. The Manchester anti-war movememnnt, therefore, decided to have its "M20" on M13.
On this date, a 5000 strong protest demonstration filed past the Labour Party Spring conference venue flanked by a heavy police presence. These clips are from the rally at the end of the demo when a statue of Blair was cerimonially toppled by the demonstrators.
