UK students get organised for electoral challenge to Blair and the far right

On 23rd February 2004, Manchester Student RESPECT was launched at a meeting at Manchester University Students' Union. Around 60 students came to the meeting. The platform speakers were Nahella Ashraf, chair of Greater Manchester Stop the War Coalition, Councillor Michael Lavalette, lecturer at Liverpool University, and "Independent" columnist Mark Steel. These video clips are extracts from the each of the speakers' contributions.

The facsist BNP has a substantial base in the region around Manchester. This is an atempt to change this situation.
