Support someone jailed for expropriating Walmart

by An appeal
Cheering for the "villains" in the headlines is one thing, protecting them is another.
Mainstream news media is widely reproducing a story about a Black person who has been jailed & banned from every Walmart location for using an old barcode to reduce the price of items. There have been some expressions of support on social media, but it is important that solidarity, when possible, be expressed through action.

The accused has been held in jail in so-called "shelby county, tennessee," with a $7,500 bond for over a week & currently remains there; a court date is set for February 27. They can be found under booking number 25200637 using the inmate locator, linked with this post.

This is a call for those who want to support the accused's hostility to megacorporate compliance near & far to manifest their feelings in letters, financial support, solidarity actions, or however else they feel it appropriate. Deny the u.s. property regime, defend those held captive by its footsoldiers, depose the slavers & genocidaires.

(While corporate news media & the jail refer to this person using what is presumably their legal name, this report does not name or gender them because no contact has been made to establish their self-determined name or gender identity. Updates on this are welcome.)

They are still in jail, with the same bond of $7,500. Their next court date is now listed as March 25.
