National General Strike on Trump Inauguration Day: Jan 20, 2025

Trump and his administration will begin implementing Project 2025 the moment he returns to power, to shock and awe the country into submission.

No joke, they want total power over every aspect of our lives, and those who don't play ball will be punished by every state organ at his command. For every inch of ground we cede, they'll take a yard. Any ground lost will be difficult to reacquire.

Let's beat them to the punch and initiate a general strike before he's inaugurated on January 20, 2025, in Washington D.C. Let him and his fascist allies know we mean business, that we won't stand idly by while they wreck our world.

It almost doesn't matter what you do, as long as you do it, as long as you seriously agitate against their kleptocratic, white Christian nationalist death march. Holding signs on street corners and marching in circles probably isn't enough, unless accompanied by a true general strike that shuts down businesses throughout our cities. Shutting down freeways, stopping business as usual, that's the key.

Don't listen to liberals who try to herd you back toward electoral politics. The election is over and Trump, or his successor, will be in power for *at least* the next four years. Don't be cowed by calls for respectability politics. Trump doesn't respect us, our civil rights, and never will, no matter how politely we ask him remove the boot stamping on our faces.

Call in sick, do whatever you have to do to be out resisting on Day One. Form affinity groups, organize through spokescouncils. Do a lone-wolf sabotage action. It's up to you, your capacity, in accordance with you and your comrades' ability to accept risk. Go big, but pace yourself for the long haul. We won't win in a day.

If you can announce your actions publicly, post them here or wherever you feel safe doing so. Share photos and write communiques about what you're doing. Tag anti-Trump slogans on every street corner. Let our resistance be unmistakable.

Show them that we have the true power, power in numbers, the power to resist in meaningful ways, the power to stop their hateful agenda in its tracks.
