Join us as we explore innovative solutions to poverty! This event aims to celebrate and elevate the extraordinary work being done to tackle poverty in our community. We envision it becoming a signature event for Sunday Friends, fostering awareness and inspiring action towards a brighter future.

The afternoon begins with a keynote address by award-winning educator Dr. Scott Myers-Lipton, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at San Jose State University, who will share highlights from SJSU's Human Rights Institute's 2024 Silicon Valley Pain Index.

The "Inside Poverty" Panel discussion aims to bring together a cross-sector multi-disciplinary panel of experts to delve into the root causes and lasting effects of poverty, while highlighting innovative solutions and best practices in social change.

The panel will be followed by the presentation of the Silicon Valley Kindness Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions from individuals and organizations dedicated to helping families overcome poverty.

Keynote Speaker:
