San Francisco, CA - The Nigerian Americans Public Affairs Committee - California PAC- Political Action Committee ( NAPAC- CAL) in partnership with the Congressional Coalition of Africans in the Diaspora is proud to announce their upcoming virtual town hall series with candidates for the 2024 elections. This event, set to take place on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 3pm PDT CA., will provide an opportunity for the community to engage with and hear from candidates running for various positions in the state of California.

The town hall series will feature three candidates: Eloise Reyes for California Senate District 29,
Baba Afolabi for Oakland City Council District 3, and Antwon Webster for Antioch City Council District 3.

Each candidate will have the chance to share their platforms and answer questions from the audience. This event is open to all members of the community and will be held virtually to ensure the safety and accessibility for all.

NAPAC is dedicated to promoting the interests and well-being of black immigrant communities in California. This virtual town hall series is just one of the many initiatives they have taken to empower and uplift the voices of the community. By providing a platform for candidates to engage in with the community, NAPAC hopes to foster a more informed and engaged voting electorate.

“We are excited to host this virtual town hall series and provide a space for our community to connect with the candidates running for office,” said NAPAC President, Dr. Veronica Ufogbune . “It is crucial for our community to be informed and involved in the political process, and we believe this event will help achieve that.”

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from the candidates and have your voice heard. Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 3pm - 4:30pm Pand join NAPAC for their virtual town hall series.

Let’s come together and make a difference in our community.
