A Rutland, Vermont man was denied unemployment benefits
because his employer required him to take a drug test under federal law,
and he tested positive for marijuana cannabis.
He used medical marijuana at home, not at work.
Marijuana cannabis is legal in Vermont.
Marijuana cannabis is not legal under federal law.
How many people in Vermont will eventually be denied benefits
that are federally funded, like food stamps, fuel assistance,
SSI, college grants, etc?
We must make marijuana cannabis legal under federal law.
We have to show voter support for making marijuana
cannabis legal under federal law, and the best way to do that
is to form a NEW MINOR POLITICAL PARTY.

We will be asking you to join a town committee in your town
or a town adjacent to you.
We will give the town committee members job titles
but at this late date in the election cycle,
you don’t have to do anything other than form a committee
this election year
except to meet on zoom or in person.
We just have to register the new minor political party with a
Chair, 2nd Chair, Secretary and Treasurer for each town committee.
We will create a minimum of 10 town committees to qualify
as a new minor political party in Vermont.
Next, out of the 10 town committees we will ask members
to join the State Committee,
and any Town Committee member can join the State Committee.
Members of the State Committee will vote to elect a
Chair, a 2nd Chair, a Treasurer and a Secretary.
Then we will ask the members of the State Committee
to run for statewide political office.
We need members to agree to be on the
November 5, 2024 official election ballot for
(1) United States Senator, (2) Representative to U.S. Congress,
(3) Governor, (4) Lt. Governor, (5) Secretary of State,
(6) Attorney General, (7) State Auditor, and (8) State Treasurer.
Members of the State Committee who want to run for political office
can say they want to nominate themselves,
and then someone else will say they 2nd the nomination,
and then we vote, and hopefully everyone agrees
and we submit the names to the
Vermont Secretary of State Elections Division.
As a candidate for a new minor political party in Vermont
you do not have to go out and collect ballot access petition signatures,
just fill out the forms required by the Vermont Secretary of State,
which include a candidate consent form to agree to have your name
on the official election ballot, and for statewide offices you
have to fill out a financial disclosure form.
Candidates for federal office must comply with all of the
laws of the Federal Election Commission.
