Join Norm Eisen; former Congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman - one of the House Judiciary Committee members to support starting impeachment proceedings against Nixon; Christian F. Nunes - President of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and more TBA to receive insider updates on the New York City trial of Donald Trump for his interference in the 2016 election and other criminal cases that Trump is facing and learn ways to take action.
This case is about election interference. Donald Trump is on trial in New York for falsifying his company's business records to conceal information from voters that he knew would harm his 2016 election. Concealing this secret payment, including lying in official fillings to cover it up, is a serious criminal offense.
The evidence against Donald Trump is damning, with many of the allegedly falsified documents having Donald Trump’s signature on them. First-degree falsification of business records is a serious crime that’s routinely prosecuted in New York—and convictions often result in jail time.
This case is a clear example of Trump’s pattern of engaging in criminal behavior and doing anything to stay in power—including hiding the truth from voters in order to deceive the electorate and to interfere with the election.
As with Trump’s other alleged crimes and attempts at election interference, the American people agree that Trump must be held accountable, otherwise he will continue upending the rule of law until he is held accountable for his crimes.
It is up to us to make sure that he is. Join us to learn more.
