AMERICA IS NOTHING TO CELEBRATE!

WE DEMAND:
A WHOLE NEW WAY TO LIVE,
A FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT SYSTEM!
The USA is the #1 capitalist-imperialist exploiter and oppressor in the world today. This
system is the source of all the outrages and madness that people are subjected to here, and
around the world. This system poses a growing threat to the future of humanity. We can no
longer stand to live this way.
Let us not cover up the truth, the U.S. was founded in slavery, has perpetrated genocide
against Native American people; invaded, occupied, and staged coups throughout the world;
dropped nuclear bombs; napalmed farming villages; trained legions of baby-killing death
squads; assassinated leaders they didn’t like; terrorized wedding parties with drone bombings;
and now are bringing humanity closer to the brink of catastrophic, even nuclear, war with their
imperialist rivals in Russia and China. And they’ve lied about every bit of this in the name of
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Today, this country is being ripped apart. Those who rule are deeply divided. The
Republicans on one side are stripping away the rights of women, LGBTQ people, immigrants,
and Black and brown people—fighting for an outright fascist form of rule. On the other side,
the Democrats, as representatives of this system, can only try to rescue the “normal”—brutally
oppressive—way things have been.
Things are coming to a head—careening towards a disastrous future—unless we work
and fight for something radically different and truly emancipating.
July 4, join us to demand a whole better way the world could be. This future is envisioned in
the Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America. This Constitution provides
the framework for a revolutionary society moving to uproot all forms of oppression and exploitation based on race, class and gender and all relations where one part of humanity is subordinated and dominated by others. It’s time to stop clinging to the myth of America and its founding document, the exploiters’ U.S. Constitution.
This July 4: which future will you stand for?
Join us at Lake Merritt in Oakland. Send the message to the world: we are fighting for a world without America, without everything America stands for and everything it does in the world. The Revcoms will release an inspiring Declaration in the name of people here and around the world for a new society on the road to real emancipation — a clarion call for this time when the future hangs in the balance.

You talk about making a revolution, but for whom does it positively benefit? I agree that America is nothing to celebrate, but Europe has to be included in the colonialism it has perpetrated against African and other colonized people worldwide. If the African working class is not in leadership for self-determination and the indigenous population of the so-called Americas are not in leadership for self-determination, what kind of revolution are we talking about? Any revolution lead by those of the colonizer nation, will not result in genuine freedom for Colonized people worldwide. I would challenge you to look at the work of the African People’s Socialist Party-an African working class revolutionary organization working to build real political and economic independence. The Uhuru Movement has over 50 economic and political organizations based on building an independent African economy on our own terms. The African People’s Socialist Party also built the African People’s Solidarity Committee in 1976, where white people can work under the leadership of the Party to build unity through reparations to the African community. The African People's Socialist Party is far ahead of the RCP and a far more trustworthy organization. The APSP is actually building dual power institutions whereas the RCP only feeds landlords, themselves, and other capitalists (the RCP is in the market of selling hope, along with the churches) with your donations.
Both groups have huge blindspots in terms of ignoring the tens of millions of non-state/future-state fascists who'd never peacefully allow any serious left movement in amerika. Military training and culture would've had to have started decades ago to stand a chance. The collapse of the US empire to overt fascism is inevitable, and only China and allies can stop US fascism and the next mass genocides on that land. Neither group will describe any sort of plausible mechanism to stop non-state/future-state fascists from surrounding cities and carrying out mass genocides. The RCP essentially says they can be stopped with handguns, whereas the APSP just pretends it's not an issue at all. There lines, like that of liberal reformists, boils down to just "we'll talk them into it". Engage the works of and empower left groups in non-imperialist countries. The US left, even the best of them which we're speaking about here, are lost.
