Location Details:

My experience as an enviro veteran (from 1990's Redwood Summer through today) is that good-hearted, well-intentioned, self-described environmentalists are dummies when it comes to economics. When it comes to pricing nature, most of us balk at using the market to determine say, redwood tree value. But failure to do that, paired with failing to resolutely treat nature values as community property, results in the so-called bad boys bilking the rest of us.

You're invited to a close reading critique of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax that will illuminate how to argue deep green policy using straight-up Economics Department reasoning and lingo.

Tune in at 7 pm Friday evening via ZOOM.
