Our Amhara community in the Bay Area is organizing a public forum with two special guests: Dr. Senait Senay, a leader of a Non-Profit Non-Governmental Organization called - Genocide Prevention in Ethiopia (GPE) based in United States, https://www.gpethiopia.org, which advocates to prevent and raise awareness about the ongoing Amhara genocide in Oromia, Ethiopia, and Mr. Tewodrose Tirfe, Chairman of the Amhara Association of America (AAA), a civic advocacy organization that advocates on behalf of Amharas in America and in Ethiopia.
The forum will consist of presentations from our two guests about their respective organizational findings, they will also reveal the current Ethiopian political dynamic and how it's affecting Ethiopian Americans here in the diaspora, including Oakland, and the rest of the Bay Area. The forum will have a Q&A session for the audience members. The event is open to the public.
