Kara is proud to host the National Alliance for Children's Grief Regional Conference tour entitled No Child Grieves Alone. Join us for this complimentary half-day conference on children's grief on Saturday, October 1 from 8:30 AM-1:30 PM.
This engaging conference will include presentations from experts in the field on the principles of being grief-informed, understanding the latest data on childhood bereavement, and the importance of centering culture and equity in youth bereavement work. The conference is intended to increase awareness about the prevalence of children’s grief and to offer meaningful conversations and tools to equip service providers in their critical work with bereaved youth. If you are a counselor, social worker, bereavement support professional, volunteer, or community/family member who supports grieving children (whether new or experienced in the field of childhood grief and loss), please join us for this dynamic conference.
This regional conference is made possible by the National Alliance for Children's Grief, with the support of the New York Life Foundation, and funded locally by Kara, to support communities in building back after the tremendous losses and isolation of the past two years.
Three Continuing Education credits are available for a fee of $30.
