The gods help those who help themselves.

I find it striking that KPFA has never, to my knowledge, advocated for the utter socialization of the economic value of the radio frequency spectrum. With all the worthy causes--many of them gone neglected or to ruin--that KPFA has championed in my thirty years as a listener and financial contributor, the station personnel have never seen fit to argue that since the radio frequency spectrum, like the Earth itself, is a gift of nature, its economic value properly belongs to we the people.

Join a roundtable discussion of how socializing the economic rent of the radio frequency spectrum would deliver loads of funding for public broadcast, and hugely purify political advertising (by removing the financial private interest incentive from broadcast media).
