Election season's back, and way too soon since it's predictable that San Francisco political punsters and pundits, from Democratic Clubs to Centers for Political Education, from roundhouse throwing lefties to stuffy know-it-alls will champeen pernicious inertia. What?

They'll denigrate the devilish rich and powerful as 48 molehills of capitalism being the great evil, or they'll savage the incompetent do-gooders in Examiner smugitude, proposing that simply doing the obvious clean and orderly good government will rid the Tenderloin and its echos across the city of addicts on the streets and punk crime.

You're invited to attend a discussion of "Why doesn't anybody factor the community-generated high price of land as the great social question?"

In other words, why don't the socialists, Marxists, but also the conservatives and right-wingers talk about how land values squeeze both the capitalists and workers?

If you come to Notable House you'll get a tasty gratis meal; PLEASE RSVP.
If you choose to attend by ZOOM you eat your own grits.
