An Oakland teacher and OEA member Gregorio Guiterrez who is also a Iraqi marine veteran speaks out about the efforts to arm and train teachers to deal with gun attacks on schools and defend against the continuing massacres.
This interview was done on May 28, 2022 at Parker Elementary school where an occupation is taking place to stop the school closure and defend the school and public education.

There is a war on teachers and public education and Oakland OEA teacher and Iraqi marine veteran Gregorio Guiterrez spoke out about the proposed arming and training of teachers with guns to protect their students and themselves from gun attacks and massacres.
This interview was done on May 28, 2022 at Parker Elementary school in Oakland which the Oakland school board has ordered be closed. An occupation is taking place by the parent, students, teachers and community supporters to stop the closures and privatization of public education
