Free virtual screening of the documentary film "Jaffa: Mother of the Stranger"

The screening of the film will be followed by Q&A discussion with film Director Raed Duzdar.

The testimonies of people born and lived in Jaffa before 1948, almost all forced into the diaspora. Memories and archival documents describe life in Jaffa before the Nakba and allow you to travel through a vital and exciting city, from the most important neighborhoods and streets, sports markets and clubs, to social and cultural life, to cinema, schools, the citrus industry. The last part of the film tells what happened to the homes and families of these witnesses and the painful decision to leave the city to escape the raids and massacres.
