You're invited to join a walking tour surveying social movements. The thesis is that most oppressed groups are, at base, in search of feeling at home in a sufficiently expansive geography.
Taking the matter from an economic perspective, the question then, is what public policy pragmatically obliterates the ability to exclude any given demographic from use of place.
This walk proposes that a land value tax is part of that policy solution.
So, on Earth Day plus one, come on a walking tour that goes much further than advocating recycling and litter abatement; it promotes socializing the entirety of location values.
If you wonder if spending Saturday morning engaged in this hands-on conversation about the intersection of real estate and justice is worth the while, ask David Campos, Matt Haney, London Breed, or Donald Trump if they'd give up owning their location uplift values . . . expect hems and haws if not outright pshaws. They're dissembling is a sure sign we're on to something that cuts to the quick.
This weekly walk is FREE, and has been since 1998!
