Now more than ever before, all across the nation, there are assaults on access to the vote.

Voting has served as one of the chief means of engaging in the democratic process in America, and advancing the cause of freedom, justice, and human dignity. The freedom struggle has centered on the right of Black peoples, and all Americans, to be able to vote and participate in the democratic process as full and equal citizens of the United States.

However, states around the nation are experiencing aggressive voter suppression tactics that create barriers to voting and advancing change.

This forum will discuss these challenges, and solutions as a way forward in the present moment and for the future.

the Rule of Law, Stanford University
