Collect art, support arts education, & be inspired by artists at Root Division's largest annual fundraising event on Thursday, October 21!
As you can imagine, we are reinventing our annual Auction festivities yet again. Join us this year for a dynamic event featuring artwork installed in Root Division’s gallery, a continuation of online bidding, and an entertaining hybrid event. We are proud to feature an eclectic mix of high quality artwork from over 100 established and emerging Bay Area artists, including plenty of shining and rising stars! Alongside that we’ve also got a stellar line up of gallery partners and local businesses rounding out this incredible occasion. This year the party is virtual but the community connections are as real as they come.
Special features of being a VIP include: access to exclusive virtual experiences, a full color printed auction catalog, a limited-edition artist designed tote filled with goodies and gifts, and special access to an In-Person Collector’s Preview on October 12. Host level guests receive all of the above, plus door-to-door delivery of custom made cocktails and tasty eats.
Proceeds from the auction directly benefit local artists, provide free art classes for Bay Area youth, and ensure the continued success of Root Division's unique model for keeping artists working at the heart of San Francisco.
Root Division is a visual arts ecosystem where artists receive subsidized studio space in exchange for service to the community. Each artist in our program volunteers towards teaching art to youth and adults as well as coordinating free public programming. We are committed to continuing the tradition of supporting excellence and accessibility in the visual arts, and cannot do it without community support!
