100 years ago, on June 1, 1921, a racist white mob burned down the vibrant Greenwood community of 10,000 Black people in Tulsa, Oklahoma, known as Black Wall Street. Over 1,000 businesses, homes, schools, churches, a hospital and a library were destroyed. Firebombing was carried out from the air. Black WWI veterans organizing armed self defense were overrun by the lynch mob which included National Guard troops, deputized white merchants, and 150 Tulsa police, incited by the supposed insult of a white woman by a young Black man.

At the end, over 300 Black people were murdered and thousands had fled for their lives. How fitting that Trump chose Tulsa in June 2020 for the ugly mass Nazi-KKK-style rally to launch his presidential campaign.

Come to Revolution Books on June 1st – because:

~ The flames of the Tulsa massacre have burned for 400 years in America, with horrific attacks like this perpetrated on Black people since the first Africans were dragged to these shores in slavery chains. The Tulsa survivors have fought for justice for 100 years now and been denied at every turn.

~ Carl Dix will speak to why these attacks happen repeatedly and how they can indeed be ended, but not under this system. And why revolution can end this horror, and other horrors of this system.

~ You will find out about Bob Avakian (BA), the leader who has broken through in how to end these horrors once and for all through the revolution to overthrow this system and create a far better society and world.

~ You can get connected to the movement for this revolution that Bob Avakian leads to make that happen.

Revolution Books is where we get into the roots of the injustices and horrors of Amerikkka... and the revolution to emancipate humanity.

Carl Dix is an advocate of the New Communism developed by Bob Avakian, and part of the The National Get Organized
for an ACTUAL Revolution Tour. Carl has been on the front lines of the fight against America's imperial wars and police murder and mass incarceration of Black and Latino people.
