The San Francisco Bay Area Water for People committee is excited to host our annual spring event to benefit Water For People. This will be a virtual and interactive event hosted over Zoom.
This year’s World Water Day theme is about what water means to people, its true value, and how we can better protect this vital resource. We are so excited about this theme because it epitomizes why Water For People works so hard to provide clean drinking water and sanitation to those who most need it in developing countries. Please come join us for this fun event and tell us, “What does water mean to YOU?”
In advance of the event, we will send recipes from the countries that Water For People works in. We encourage you to make yourself a dish for the event!
Agenda
--Overview of Water For People
--Interactive Game with water trivia and a word cloud using Kahoot!
--Value of Water Video featuring Water For People staff, volunteers, and supporters sharing what water means to them
--Q&A session

and the Bay Area Water Works Association (https://www.bawwa.org/about). All proceeds go to Water For People, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to ending the global water crisis.
