3:30 pm in Berkeley

START at 2020 BONAR @ University Ave. because new BUSD pole antenna (not yet live) will harm many kids!

If you can, bring battery operated tealights + signs/banner to display on your vehicle.

Slow CARAVAN leaves 4:15 PM. Left on University Ave. Quick R on Chestnut, R Delaware, L Sacramento, R Rose, L MLK, R Monterey.

Park, RALLY & DANCE at MARIN TRAFFIC O. At dusk, turn on tealights. Before leaving, put 'em on dash.

Back how we came but continue on MLK. R Allston, R Grant to last rally/dance at the Nations pole where an antenna is planned.

RAIN or SHINE FREE FUN asserting that WE AREN'T LAB RATS!

Drive careful & keep event covid safe pls. The whole route is low EMF except the end on MLK after Hearst. People disabled by EMF sensitivity are especially welcome and, if you come that far, park at the back of the Nations lot which has lower EMF radiation than near University Ave.

Pls publicize. Flyers available upon request.

Dear Santa, On Solstice eve, all we want is a 4/5G BAN!

For health, fire safety, birds & bees & bats, less energy use, less climate chaos, better weather prediction, more equitable access, more security, & to save our right to privacy.

Wired connections will always be faster, more reliable, safer, more secure and private!

We don't act alone.  Candlelight vigils sponsored by Stop 5G International are also organized in other cities.

§Not to be missed! Safe CARAVAN + RALLIES w/ optional dancin
by Phoebe Sorgen
If there's no parking on or near the Marin Traffic Circle at the Arlington, or if you prefer to stay in your vehicle, consider cruisin slowly round & round the circle til we're done dancin and the caravan resumes (down Monterey, 1st left on the Alameda which becomes MLK.) We think it's safe to park along red curbs at Bonar and around the Marin circle if you stay at your vehicle and move it if needed. Same w/ Nation's parking lot if there's not enough street parking. (Some of us may buy pie there so we'll be legit customers.)

Plans may change a bit if necessary due to circumstances.
§YES, we're ON, MASKED w/ DISTANCE!
by WiRED
City now mandates that organizers "ensure 100% masking & physical distancing" at this outdoor gathering in 3 locations (caravan start, end, plus the Marin Circle stop.) We can't prevent nutcases from attending so, for greatest safety, stay in your vehicle the whole time. Bring a stuffy, doll, or puppet & dance out the car window, or just put dancin hands out the window, maybe pumpin a NO 5G sign! Also fine to dance beside your vehicle if you're masked & watchin out for pedestrians to keep distance. After all, ya wanna show off your bad ass boots, dontcha? Just don't ruin the fun by makin us yell at you w/ a bulhorn, puhlease. We just wanna dance and stop Big Wireless! All welcome except saboteurs.
§This SAFE & FUN EVENT is STILL ON
by WiRED
VERY SAFE and VERY FUN anti-5G Berkeley Pole Dances & Car-a-Van STILL ON!
For 99.9% covid safety, merely stay in your car and bring a stuffie, puppet, or doll to dance, or pump a hand-held sign out the window when parked in time to the music at 102.9 FM (during ads, switch to 106.1.) If you get out of your vehicle, wear a mask & keep at least 6’ distance to respect comrades' concerns, to avoid a police order to disperse, to avoid bad PR, and to maintain safety.

Community responsibility! PLEASE BRING a BULLHORN if you have one. If anyone needs a reminder, they can be calmly informed via bullhorn from 12’ distance:
If you can’t keep mouth & nose covered, please stay in your car. Please respect our concerns. We don't want a police order to disperse. We want good PR. We want everyone here to feel safe & be safe.

Drivers will focus on driving, but it would be helpful if passengers shout “Stop 5G” etc out the window during the caravan. (Shouting and singing require greater physical distance.)
If you have some, remember to bring battery-operated tea-lights for your dashboard after sunset. If possible, decorate your vehicle with slogans such as: We are not lab rats. The People vs Big Wireless.
5G is SLOWER than WIRED. Health, or 5G Hell?
Our streets, our CHOICE. 5G harms bees, trees, and babies! Save Privacy. NO to Total Surveillance. WT emF?!
Health 1st, not Greed. Follow the $.
1000 peer-reviewed studies: WT emF!
Like life? Stop 4/5G!

The City Health Officer permits outdoor political events and entertainment productions like this only when participants wear masks and maintain physical distance.
So remember to bring a mask, in case you need to leave your vehicle. Might as well bring hand sanitizer too.

WOW, there were about 25 attendees with a total of 12 vehicles in the caravan! This is excellent turn-out considering the cold, covid fears, and holiday bustle. There were a few newbies. We had a GREAT time dancing at 3 locations. Sunset at the Marin fountain was gorgeous. At the end of the Grant/University Ave dance, we watched the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction. Police cruised by and let us be. As we had slowly cruised across north Berkeley and back, vehicles decorated w/ informative signage, some of us beeped in time to the dance music blaring from our radios, so we got attention, and lots of thumbs ups. SO so glad we did this! If you came, thanks. (If you missed it, better luck next times.) Our work goes on! We may be on the City Council agenda Jan 19 or 26. It's easy to make a TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION via our fiscal sponsor, EON. Click URL below to do so online, in which case be sure to COMMENT THAT IT'S FOR WiRED please. Up to $300 is tax deductible.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
