Answer the Thanksgiving question of what one thing can you not do without and which are you most grateful for?
To find the universal answer, we'll contemplate the game Monopoly. If given your choice of taking
The land (the board itself) or
All the money or
All the houses and hotels,
Which would you take?
If you take all the money and I take the land, I charge you all the money you've got but enough to keep you playing. If you won't pay, you're off the board.
If you take all the housing and I take the land, I charge you all the value of your housing except enough to keep you in the game. If you won't surrender it, you're off the board.
If you've ever wondered if the economic value of the Earth should be socialized, come share your thoughts at this one hour free seminar taking up the question, "Whom should we pay location rent to? God, me, the billion nominal title holders, or the whole population?"
Wages, housing, ethics, jobs, health care, education, transportation, the environment . . . they're all in there.
