Adam Smith, Karl Marx, Milton Friedman, Joseph Stiglitz, Thomas Picketty, and the Holy Bible all tell you so, but leave it to a picture book to SHOW you it's true: landlordism is the bane of society.

It corrupts the integrity of all parties, the landlord as well as the renter. But don't take anyone else's word for it. See for yourself this Saturday morning as a longtime school teacher "breaks it down" through a close reading of Janet Stevens' 1996 picture book about share-cropping, TOPS & BOTTOMS. It's nominally a kids' book, but it's a must see for every member of society who wants more and better housing, lower rent, the abolition of regressive taxes, an end to unearned income, and higher wages.

Educators cordially invited, activists welcomed, libertarians encouraged to attend, commie/socialists/progressives warmly hustled in. Join the stampede to get a FREE hour's entertaining illumination regarding planet Earth's peculiarest institution: private title to Nature.

Urban gardenists, GMO activists, Patent patriots, self-leavening bootstrap advocates will revel in the upshot of this information downspout. So will urban planners, housing rights do-gooders, and hide-bound free-market haranguers.

Q&A, charts, anecdotes, classroom manipulatives (hands-on learning props) included at no extra charge.
