UnidosUS Virtual Town Hall: Local Latino Leaders Address COVID-19
UnidosUS is hosting this virtual town hall to highlight the need for inclusive relief in CARES 2.0.
Mayor Romero of Tucson and Mayor Garcetti of Los Angeles have both been on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis and have witnessed firsthand how our community has been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
Local leaders have played a key role in the coronavirus response in their communities, and at a time when the federal response has excluded many Latinos, their voices are needed as we look to Congress for relief that includes all of our families.
Join us on Tuesday, May 12, at 7 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. CT, and 4 p.m. PT, to hear firsthand from local leaders how they are charting a way forward for our community:
• Janet Murguía, President and CEO, UnidosUS
• Regina Romero, Mayor of Tucson
• Eric Garcetti, Mayor of Los Angeles
