In celebration of Black History Month, American Planning Association invites you to tour
the Museum of African Diaspora
Date and Time: Wed, February 26, 2020 @ 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Museum of the African Diaspora, 685 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105
Cost: $8 special tour; $10 film
American Planning Association's Northern California Chapter invites you to join us to honor Black History Month at the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) on February 26th, 2020.
Located in the City's dynamic cultural corridor, MoAD's mission is to celebrate Black cultures, ignite challenging conversations, and inspire learning through the global lens of the African Diaspora.
Join us for one or both of the activities:
-- 4:00 - 5:00 PM -- We will commence a private one-hour tour ($8pp) of the Museum's current exhibitions, which include: Black is Beautiful: The Photography of Kwame Brathwaite; Don't Shoot: An Opus of the Opulence of Blackness; Baye Fall: Roots in Spirituality, Fashion and Resistance; MoAD Emerging Artists presents Chanell Stone; and Rashaad Newsome.
-- 6:30 - 9:00 PM -- The tour will be followed by a film screening ($10pp)
of the film series Black Power & Jazz .
