Perspectives of a newly released prisoner on the so-called “free world” in San Francisco

Some talk about the beauty of San Francisco. However, in reality it is not different from many cities, it is a dirty place to live. Upon release from prison, I could not miss the homeless and the general lack of concern for them... 

Another aspect to successfully negotiate the transition from prison to society is the acceptance of the dominant social norms. Yet current societal norms have a tendency to lock the mind, hinder the thinking and produce subservient people, to paraphrase George Jackson on mind-forged manacles.
