Death and devastation by PG&E: The need to nationalize energy utilities
PG&E is responsible for the gas pipeline explosions in San Bruno that killed eight, the 2018 Camp Fire that laid waste to Paradise, and the recent Kincade Fire, as well as widespread forced blackouts. The private utility has shown that it puts profit above all else.
Hear a socialist feminist perspective on the need to take over the corporate power provider and put it in the hands of its workers and customers. Publicly run utilities exist and we can make them even better. Share your ideas in discussion.
Sunday, November 17, 1:00pm
Homecooked lunch served at 12:15pm for $8-10 donation
