There are calls for taking public most of the operations of PG&E, and these adjurations and clamoring are nothing new. Others call for fare-free public transportation. Universal healthcare is on the lips of hundreds of thousands, perhaps tens of millions. But how to afford such programs?
Come along on a walking tour that presents fiscal policy to satisfy the most urgent, ambitious hopes and advocates in these regards. Nominally a survey of San Francisco social movement history, this FREE tour trounces the embedded acquiescence to privatized land values, rips and shreds the flaccid intellectual muscle tissue abiding that accommodation, and then proudly strides on to propose socializing land values in order to fund all the good social programs imaginable!
