Join Veterans For Peace and members of the peace community on Monday November 11 when we ring a bell to focus on the desire to end the horror of war rather than celebrate it.
Veterans for Peace chapters across the nation meet to commemorate the original ARMISTICE DAY by ringing bells 11 times at 11:00 am on November 11 as was done at the end of World War I, when the world came together in realization that war is so horrible that it must not be an instrument of national policy.
* The Dance of Peace featuring Khalilah Ramirez and Sharat Lin
* Songs by the Raging Grannies
Sponsored by Veterans for Peace Chapter 101
Cosponsored by WILPF San Jose, San Jose CodePink, Our Developing World, San Jose Catholic Worker, Redwood City Catholic Worker, San Jose Peace and Justice Center, Pacific Life Community - Bay Area, Raging Grannies - San Jose Gaggle
