An evening of inspirational multimedia performance for peace
Ayda Melika: Poetry reading and video art
Pedram Falsafi: Classical guitar
In the past few weeks, we have seen a steady escalation in tensions between Iran and the U.S. that has given rise to a combative rhetoric. Those of us in arts and humanities feel the urge to use our voices to generate awareness, empathy and love. The Iranian Student Association in America and Perisan Center invite you to an evening of inspirational multimedia performance for peace. Pedram Falsafi, conductor and composer of classical guitar, in collaboration with Ayda Melika, filmmaker and the director of the Iranian Studies Initiative at Georgia Tech, bring together a selection of captivating music, video art, and Persian poetry in a political imagination calling for dialogue and peace.
Program begins at 6 pm
Tickets: $35 / Students $10

Sponsored by UC Berkeley's Iranian Students Association in America (ISAA), Georgia Tech's Iranian Studies Initiative, and the Persian Center
