Julia "Butterfly" Hill hung in a tree pleading for its life . . . she put her own life on the line to bring sanctity of grandma redwood awareness to the citizenry in a Klimtian resplendent display of passionate feminine courage in the face of crypto-phallo greed. And scores of old growth redwoods were safe-guarded. While whole forests disappeared to gild private bank accounts. Won the battle, lost the war.
What if landowners, big and small, recognized the economic value of mother nature as a socially-generated value, and that decisions to cut trees or smog the air or dump plastics into the water are rightfully a community-wide consideration and that the economic value of Earth ought not to be the source of private income?
That would be a war won by a battle accepted. Come on a walking tour about social movement history and real estate that details the battle to win the war that safe-guards Mother Earth.
FREE, except for your aversion to talking about marketplace economics' intersection with social justice.
