District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe will release his final report of the police killing of Chinedu Okobi by 5 San Mateo County Sheriff's Officers on Oct 3, 2018 in Millbrae. His report, which will be published to the San Mateo County Government website, will include video of the events of Oct 3rd and his decision on whether or not to charge the 5 officers involved.
Please join us TOMORROW evening, Friday, March 1st at 6 PM at 1400 El Camino Real in Millbrae. We will meet on the sidewalk outside of the Kumon Learning Center (the address is listed as San Bruno on Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/nvVhQ3wWwjz) RAIN OR SHINE
We are convening in order to draw further public attention to this case and to demand change in San Mateo County including:
A Moratorium on Tasers in the County by law enforcement
An investigation by the CA Attorney General regarding the death of Chinedu Okobi
Establishment of a permanent Civilian Oversight Committee to review the actions of the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office
Please join us and please spread the word.
