Government shutdown severely impacting drivers and gig workers into poverty and suicide. Calling for a CAP on new Drivers and cars in major cities
Addressing the Government Shutdown as it's impacting Uber, Lyft drivers and many other Gig workers. The government workers are using our gig/rideshare jobs as temporary welfare meanwhile they are going to receive back pay. Gov't shutdown is creating scarcity of gig work availability - This is driving drivers and gig workers quickly into deeper poverty & suicide. The Gig Economy has become the dumpbucket for the Nation's Economic problems. Gig Workers have NO SAFETY NET to turn to - The future of work is at STAKE. The rise of the precarious worker becomes necessary to find solutions to this downward economic spiral!
