Throughout the world, many more people have a new fantasy frame of reference toward Africa. The ancient future of Wakanda, through the lens of Hollywood created a new look at Africa.

For many people of African ancestry, Kwanzaa is a special time of the year to reflect, remember and reconnect to ancient universal principles of our unique way of being. The official Kwanzaa Website provides a framework for the world to see.

"First Fruits of the Harvest" has a special meaning as we begin winter 2018, in our journey to reestablish Agriculture as the foundation of our culture in the “Farm to Fork Capital of America.”

Kwanzaa is our “California Grown” ancient future holiday showcasing “first fruits of the harvest” continuing ancient traditions from the broader Pan African sacred science of agriculture.

Many people privately identify and celebrate Kwanzaa, others join with family and friends at home and still others are seen in very lively public community activities that display the vast diversity of our Pan African experience.

Here in Sacramento, the Capitol of the 5th Largest Economy on Earth, the State of California we are awakening to express a new way forward, in “the greatest garden of the world.”

Interfaith, intergenerational and international focus during this 2018 Kwanzaa Holiday will prepare for a renewed effort to showcase for future generations the great expectation and civic responsibility people of African ancestry have demonstrated since the salient year, 1849..

In the spirit of Wakanda, an ancient future of Umoja, we give a portion of our first fruits of the harvest, in a good way. We extend the hand of fellowship, building on the golden promise of the California Dream, and do our part to expand efforts toward mutually beneficial California ~ Pan African exchange in harmony with a broader, year-round tangible expression of the symbols and principles of Kwanzaa.

Throughout the Pan African Diaspora, 2019 will be our special year to fulfill biblical prophecy referencing Genesis 15:12-14, recognizing Ancient Classical African Civilizations through 1619 along the Kwanza River in Angola to Hampton, Virginia and Murphy’s Corral along the Cosumnes River, California.

Kwanzaa continues to grow and rebuild a people destroyed by epic wars, enslaved, colonized with hidden psychological and mental abuse called the new normal.

1619-2019 marks 400 years of enslavement and affliction in the English colonies of America, where “Manifest Destiny” established a new way in 1849.

Matunda Ya Kwanzaa, it is time…
