Women’s March Contra Costa- Together We Rise

Join us for the 3rd Annual Women's March 2019 happening in Walnut Creek!

Throughout 2018, we've seen how powerful we are when we gather together, raise our voices, and advocate for change. Now it's time to do it again. Together we rise!

All Contra Costa residents are invited to join us on January 19, 2019 for this non-partisan, peaceful, family-friendly gathering.

When: January 19, 2019 @ 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Where: Civic Park @ 1375 Civic Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94596

Schedule:
Gather: 10:30 am
Rally: 11:00 am
We March: 11:30 am

At our rally at Civic Park in downtown Walnut Creek, we will hear from powerful speakers and demonstrate our commitment to equity, tolerance, human rights and justice for all. The rally will be followed by a peaceful march through the streets of downtown Walnut Creek.

Our group stands against hate in all its forms. Women’s March Contra Costa denounces any statements against the Jewish and LGBTQIA+ communities and will continue take action to promote intersectionality and inclusivity as we continue to work toward our vision of restoring dignity, sharing humanity and promoting equity for all. Together We Rise!

After a tumultuous year of conflict and divisiveness, you will go home feeling the LOVE!

Donations: https://www.gofundme.com/wmcc2019
You donation will help us cover our costs for permits, insurance, portable toilets, a sound system (guaranteed to be better this year!), and other event related costs. We raised our fundraising goal due to significantly increased permit costs. Although the costs are higher, we are looking forward to shutting down the streets, ensuring increased visibility and safety for our marchers.
