What the heck are Heat Pumps ?

Date:
Thursday, November 08, 2018
Time:
6:45 PM - 8:45 PM
Event Type:
Class/Workshop
Organizer/Author:
Fossil Free Midpeninsula
Location Details:

Come learn about how you can save money AND protect the environment by using a heat pump system for your home, giving you both heating and air conditioning. A heat pump system uses only electricity, eliminating the use of “natural” gas (ie, methane — a powerful greenhouse gas that creates climate change). To learn how you can save with a heat pump, come to a FREE workshop organized by Fossil Free Midpeninsula:

Thurs. Nov 8 — 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm
Redwood City Public Works Building
1400 Broadway (near Woodside Road), RWC

Speakers include Mike Rebholtlz, General Manager of Alternative HVAC Systems

Mary Dateo, homeowner who installed a heat pump system this summer

Tom Kabat, energy engineer and heat pump system designer

Light refreshments provided at 6:45; program starts at 7:00 pm.
No registration required. For more information, see https://www.facebook.com/groups/FossilFreeMidPeninsula/events/
