Be a supporter of the Petaluma58! We will be having a bake sale and the proceeds go to support the activists arrested in Petaluma. We will also be doing outreach and inviting interested people to a special welcome event we are hosting just for them!
On September 29th, 58 activists were arrested for providing care to sick and neglected chickens and documenting the conditions that they live in. Despite efforts to report these conditions to authorities, no action has been taken to address these conditions.
In times of activist repression it is so important to support each other and to grow our community! Join us on Sproul Plaza at the corner of Telegraph and Bancroft from 1-3pm! See you all there!!
---
Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) is a grassroots network of animal rights activists. Through open rescue, demonstration, and disruption, we are creating a world where every animal is safe, happy and free.
DxE cultivates a welcoming and supportive community. We ask that all those who attend our events (online and offline) respect our Code of Conduct which can be reviewed at http://dxe.io/conduct
To learn about our vision, goals, strategy and more check out the San Francisco Bay Area chapter Activist Handbook here: https://dxe.io/sfbayhandbook
