Calling all journalists, artists, educators, students, activists and community members:
Project Censored invites you to join us at
The Media Freedom Summit 2.0: Critical Media Literacy for Social Justice to collectively address the pitfalls of avid media consumption and to promote the importance of media literacy.
This “unconference” gathers people to share their experiences with grass roots movements, to continue to grow and learn as educated consumers and contributors to free and independent media. We will examine how to engage others, to critically evaluate media sources and to share information. We invite you to listen, interact and engage in each of the workshops and panels, and to learn about what has been left out of the headlines. We hope that this will ignite a spark in us all to continue to speak truth to power.

The Media Freedom Summit will be held on October 26 - 27th at College of Marin, 835 College Ave, Kentfield, CA 94904. Presentations will be interactive and inclusive.

The $125 conference package includes a signed copy of Censored 2018, Friday evening Hors d’oeuvres and celebration, Saturday morning continental breakfast/coffee Register here. Students with valid college or high school IDs are admitted free. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
