Oakland DOT seeking participants from disability and senior community to test safety infrastructure projects

Oakland DOT is seeking participants from the disability and senior community to test out new pedestrian and bicycle safety infrastructure projects. OakDOT would like to field test a raised island parking protected bike lane at the intersection of Lakeside Drive / Madison Street / 19th Street, **with vehicles that have wheelchair ramp or other mobility access needs.** See illustration of this design.

We are updating the dates to Oct 1st to Oct 6th to conduct this field test. If you have a vehicle with a wheelchair ramp or other mobility access needs, please select dates and times you’re able to participate from the Doodle poll link (https://doodle.com/poll/8m8n8gsrzp73kxwn) by 9/26/18.

Once there is a critical mass of participants for **one date and time**, we will follow up with a confirmation if you email me your contact information.
