Mumia Abu-Jamal’s freedom is at stake in a court hearing on August 30th.
Mumia was framed for a crime he did not commit, by cops, courts and politicians.
But now, with your help, we just might free him!

A Philadelphia court now has before it the evidence which could lead to Mumia’s freedom, in a hearing to take place on August 30th. The evidence shows that Ronald Castille, of the District Attorney’s office in 1982, intervened in the prosecution of Mumia for a crime he did not commit. Years later, Castille was a judge on the PA Supreme Court, where he sat in judgement over Mumia’s case, refused to recuse himself, and ruled against Mumia in every appeal!

This corrupt behavior has now (belatedly) been ruled illegal by the US Supreme Court in the Williams ruling. And the Williams ruling was retroactive, so it applies to Mumia's case!

But will the court rule to overturn all of Mumia’s negative appeals rulings by the PA Supreme Court? If it does, Mumia would be free to appeal once again against his blatantly unfair conviction. If it does not, Mumia could remain imprisoned for life, without the possibility for parole, for a crime he did not commit.
