9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

David Giesen

Whether a Yimby, a nimby, a straight-up Tenants' Rights advocate, a Homeless Coalition proponent, a libertarian, a communist, a socialist, etc. you'll appreciate this walking tour. It surveys San Francisco social movement history on it's way to exploring the hypothesis that the privatization of land values is the primary economic lever segmenting and marginalizing parts of society.

The tension in SF between those who advocate building more housing and those who decry new housing ushering in gentrification is largely fomented by the failure to preponderantly socialize land values.

This Saturday, a monetary donation will be made to any housing issues organizations identified by attendees as their affiliation.

FREE.
