Pacifica Social Justice and Faith in Action Bay Area Present: The Long Ride/El Largo Viaje by Pacifica Filmmaker Valerie Lapin Saturday, July 21, 6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. screening The Long Ride is a timely documentary film about the historic 2003 Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride that sparked the birth of the new Civil Rights Movement for immigrant workers. Subtitled in English and español. The film will be followed by Q&A with Freedom Riders including Anand Singh, President UNITE HERE, Local 2 and Valerie Lapin, Film Director and Pacifica Social Justice Member.
