Union workers are seeing the impact of walking the picket lines in the last several months. Faced with austerity, wage cuts, and theft of benefits and pensions, the strikers turned to labor’s strongest weapon to defend both their rights and the public services they provide. Speakers will spark a discussion by giving first-hand accounts of strikes, lessons learned, and the next steps for the labor movement.
