Concord: Speak out against the stadium

Speak out against the Hall Sports Complex planned at Concord BART. The stadium will reduce the amount of housing that can be developed at the BART site, and will increase noise and traffic to the surrounding neighborhoods. While the mayor and council members have been in backroom discussion with the developers, they have made no effort to reach out to residents who live next to BART for input and concerns. Concord already is planning new sports facilities at the former Naval Weapons Station. Those facilities are planned to fit in with the civic structure of those future neighborhoods. There is no pressing reason to squeeze a stadium near BART.
