Our two speakers, Gary Hicks, researcher at the Institute for the Critical Study of Society, and Eugene E Ruyle, Emeritus Professor of Anthropology, CSU Long Beach, will lead our bicentennial celebration of the birth of Karl Marx (b. May 5, 1818),
