Speaker: Dr. Sharat G. Lin, Research Fellow at the San Jose Peace and Justice Center and its past president. He has been on the frontline of some epic moments in history: the Lebanese Civil War, the Palestinian Uprising, the Arab Spring movement in Egypt, and the Kurdish resistance against ISIS.

This event is part of the 18th Annual Middle East Heritage Celebration (MEHC).
The 18th Annual MEHC activities are co-sponsored by SJCC Office of the President, the Associated Student Government (ASG), the Diversity Advisory Committee, Office of vice-President of Academic Affairs, Office of vice-President of Administrative Services and by EOP&S.
