153 years ago Field Order #15, issued by Union General William Tecumseh Sherman, proscribed that huge pieces of southern plantation lands would be allocated in 40 acre parcels to those formerly held as slaves. That order was rescinded and nullified by mean-hearted pseudo-Christians ignorant of the Biblical Jubilee within a year, yet the refrain "40 acres and a mule" lives on as the refrain of full-throated justice seekers always but particularly during Black History month.

Come along on a walking tour exploring social movements generally, but devoting special attention to a practical iteration of "40 acres!" today, securing justice not only for African-Americans, but for all people. Led by the Leon Phat for SF Mayor campaign, the walk is free, in fact beyond free it busts the intellectual and spiritual chains which manufacture consent.
