Join us for an exploration of California’s native landscape, from ancient times up until European colonization. Speakers Daniel Gluesenkamp, Executive Director of the California Native Plant Society, and Kevin Dixon, naturalist for the East Bay Regional Parks, will discuss how we might recreate some of that wild landscape with indigenous plants and where hidden pockets of this landscape still exist today. Vincent Medina, Ohlone, who will speak on native use of the edible landscape, his specialty.

Presented in partnership with the Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association (BAHA). Pre-registration is recommended as seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased from BAHA at $10 at http://www.berkeleyheritage.com. No one turned away for lack of funds.
